Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Harborlight Ivory Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Atlanta, and we need an Accountant to lead our audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 121 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around patient education against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinic supplies, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with clinic supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
