Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Foxglove River Medical is a Richmond company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an Accountant to lead our audit preparation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
