Accountant - audit preparation (remote)

Bright Willow Medical Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for training materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 260 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around clinical evaluations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to training materials, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
