Accountant - audit preparation (Phoenix, AZ)

Nova Keystone Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Phoenix focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an Accountant to lead our audit preparation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around field visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service installations, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
