Accountant - audit preparation (Phoenix, AZ)

We are growing our team at Silverline Ridge Medical and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be audit preparation. You would join a large organisation of about 940 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around training materials against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with device records.
