Accountant - audit preparation (Orlando, FL)

Silverline Ashton Inspection Services is an inspection company in Orlando with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an Accountant to lead our audit preparation. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client sites, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
