Accountant - audit preparation (Orlando, FL)

Redstone Ember Markets is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on audit preparation for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 691 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supplier deliveries, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around pricing against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
