Accountant - audit preparation (Omaha, NE)

Foxglove Cobalt Pharma Group supports drug development and manufacturing around Omaha. We are hiring an Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 72 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around regulatory filings against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with cleanroom operations. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
