Accountant - audit preparation (Nashville, TN)

Amberfield Thistle Pharma develops and makes medicines in Nashville, and we need an Accountant to lead our audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 159 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around clinical studies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with cleanroom operations. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Nashville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
