Accountant - audit preparation (Miami, FL)

Greenridge Harbor Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Miami focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an Accountant to lead our audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Miami. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to outage reports, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around field visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
