Accountant - audit preparation (Las Vegas, NV)

Clearpath Cobalt Medical is a Las Vegas company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an Accountant to lead our audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 180 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
