Accountant - audit preparation (Jacksonville, FL)

Harborlight Rowan Facilities Partners is a facilities company in Jacksonville with crews on day and night shifts, and we need an Accountant to lead our audit preparation. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to supply orders, and clear open items. • Track costs around cleaning schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
