Accountant - audit preparation (Fresno, CA)

Clearpath Wren Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Fresno focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring an Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a large organisation of about 557 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around customer tickets against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
