Accountant - audit preparation (Fresno, CA)

Highbridge Meadow Medical designs and makes medical devices in Fresno. We are hiring an Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around regulatory submissions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
