Accountant - audit preparation (El Paso, TX)

Rivermark Hollow Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around El Paso, and we need an Accountant to lead our audit preparation. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client records, and clear open items. • Track costs around care plans against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with client records.
