Accountant - audit preparation (Dallas, TX)

Highbridge Umber Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Dallas area. We are hiring an Accountant to take on audit preparation. You would join a large organisation of about 706 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field visits, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
