Accountant - audit preparation (Baltimore, MD)

Greenridge Loom Medical is a Baltimore company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an Accountant to lead our audit preparation. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
