Accountant - audit preparation (Atlanta, GA)

Northwind Bridge Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Atlanta area. We are hiring an Accountant to take on audit preparation. We invest in training. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to billing accounts, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
