Accountant - accounts payable (Tulsa, OK)

Ironwood Drift Care Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for visit scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to visit scheduling, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around care plans against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
