Accountant - accounts payable (Tulsa, OK)

Clearpath Vale Financial is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for customer onboarding, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around vendor spend against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer onboarding, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with customer onboarding.
