Accountant - accounts payable (Tulsa, OK)

Harborlight Wilder Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Tulsa. We are hiring an Accountant to take on accounts payable. You would join a small organisation of about 194 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around device records against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with production lots. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tulsa. • We reply to every applicant.
