Accountant - accounts payable (Tulsa, OK)

Silverline Maple Pharma is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for clinical studies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Tulsa. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinical studies, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with clinical studies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tulsa. • We reply to every applicant.
