Accountant - accounts payable (Toledo, OH)

Nova Cross Health Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 165 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Track costs around clinic supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient education, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with patient education. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
