Accountant - accounts payable (Toledo, OH)

Lumen Wilder Pharma develops and makes medicines in Toledo, and we need an Accountant to lead our accounts payable. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around regulatory filings against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with cleanroom operations. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
