Accountant - accounts payable (Tampa, FL)

Clearpath Lakeside Care Services supports families and individuals in Tampa with personal care and coordination, and we need an Accountant to lead our accounts payable. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to family communication, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
