Accountant - accounts payable (Salt Lake City, UT)

Greenridge Willow Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Salt Lake City, and we need an Accountant to lead our accounts payable. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production lots, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with production lots. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
