Accountant - accounts payable (Reno, NV)

Silverline Linden Health provides primary and specialty care in Reno. We are hiring an Accountant to take on accounts payable. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around patient scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to insurance authorisations, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with insurance authorisations. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
