Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Cedar Bridge Care Services Partners provides in-home and community support in Reno, and we need an Accountant to lead our accounts payable. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around visit scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client records, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with client records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
