Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Bluepeak Corner Medical Partners builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Pittsburgh, and we need an Accountant to lead our accounts payable. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with device records.
