Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Highbridge Iron Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Spokane producing generic and specialty treatments, and we need an Accountant to lead our accounts payable. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with cleanroom operations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
