Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Cedar Stone Telecom Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to outage reports, and clear open items. • Track costs around network equipment against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
