Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Bright Basin Facilities Group is a facilities company in Tulsa with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring an Accountant to take on accounts payable. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around cleaning schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
