Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Greenridge Cross Health Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for clinic supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Track costs around patient education against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with clinic supplies. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
