Accountant - accounts payable (remote)

Redstone Cobalt Pharma develops and makes medicines in Atlanta. We are hiring an Accountant to take on accounts payable. You would join a large organisation of about 304 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around regulatory filings against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with cleanroom operations. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
