Accountant - accounts payable (Oklahoma City, OK)

Amberfield Loom Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Oklahoma City region, and we need an Accountant to lead our accounts payable. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around vehicle inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
