Accountant - accounts payable (Miami, FL)

Cedar Lakeside Energy Group is an energy provider in Miami focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an Accountant to lead our accounts payable. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to usage data, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
