Accountant - accounts payable (Louisville, KY)

Amberfield Fox Pharma Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for cleanroom operations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 345 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. • Track costs around quality documentation against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with cleanroom operations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
