Accountant - accounts payable (Little Rock, AR)

Nova Ashton Telecom Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around service installations against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Little Rock. • We reply to every applicant.
