Accountant - accounts payable (Las Vegas, NV)

Silverline Wilder Auto Group is a Las Vegas company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an Accountant to take on accounts payable. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to parts orders, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around supplier deliveries against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
