Accountant - accounts payable (Fresno, CA)

Harborlight Wilder Pharma develops and makes medicines in Fresno. We are hiring an Accountant to take on accounts payable. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cleanroom operations, and clear open items. • Track costs around clinical studies against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with cleanroom operations. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
