Accountant - accounts payable (Denver, CO)

Greenridge Linden Health provides primary and specialty care in Denver, and we need an Accountant to lead our accounts payable. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around patient scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to referrals, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with referrals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
