Accountant - accounts payable (Dallas, TX)

Redstone Willow Medical Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for complaint handling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Track costs around device records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to complaint handling, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
