Accountant - accounts payable (Colorado Springs, CO)

Greenridge Loom Pharma Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for batch records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to batch records, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around release testing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
