Accountant - accounts payable (Charlotte, NC)

Clearpath Summit Medical is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 421 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
