Accountant - accounts payable (Atlanta, GA)

Nova Pine Auto Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for parts orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around service appointments against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to parts orders, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
