Accountant - accounts payable (Atlanta, GA)

Bright Basin Health Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on accounts payable for clinic supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 98 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around referrals against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinic supplies, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with clinic supplies.
