We found an apartment we can afford - what worked for you?

After 8 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Columbus. It has been weighing on me all week. The kids have their own room again. It was worth not giving up.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
