We found an apartment we can afford - what worked for you?

After 8 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Atlanta. A local programme helped with the deposit. Thanks for all the tips.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

That is a real win. Enjoy it.
