We found an apartment we can afford (Chicago)

After 5 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Chicago. I worked as an HR coordinator before this. The landlord took a chance on us. It was worth not giving up.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
