We found an apartment we can afford after 18 years as a teaching assistant

After 6 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Albuquerque. It has been weighing on me all week. A local programme helped with the deposit. It was worth not giving up.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
